Best Video and Photo Blog Script?
I am looking for the best photo and video blog script. I don’t need something that is packed with features and overcomplicated, just something super easy for me and my family members (that are not super PC capable) to upload pictures and videos of my daughter and also add a few comments.
I want something that will automatically reduce image sizes so that the site does not load slowly and something that will allow me to easily embed local file video clips.
I know about Flickr and other image hosting sites but I would rather have something that I can control on my own domain.
I am leaning towards wordpress because there are many plugins to use, but if anyone knows of anything else please let me know.

Wordpress is popular. Some other Open Source Solutions for this type of site is 4Images Gallery and Coppermine.
